AdSense Alternative: Enhance Interactive

Enhance Interactive is a PPC network whose major USP (unique selling point) is their cost and effectiveness, more normally expressed as ROI (Return on Investment)

For example, on the site, they carry the results of a recent survey carried out by MarketingExperiments.com that compared the advertising performance of Google, Findwhat (now Miva) and Enhance Interactive, based on click volume and consequent conversion rate.

The test was based on a cross section of 31 health and beauty keywords and used listings that directed searches to targeted product pages within a partner publisher’s website or blog.

According to Enhance, the test showed that they had the highest overall ROI at over 500% and the lowest cost-per-click for the top position on the same keyword ($0.10 at Enhance vs. $2.47 for Google).

So, based on these results, there’s no doubt that Enhance’s costs are significantly lower than those of AdSense, and for that reason alone, it is a site that site or blog owners should consider using.

One thing to note is that, on their home page, Enhance list several ‘Search Partners’ such as Yahoo, Dogpile and Snap.

In other words, whereas when you look at a Google Search Results page, you see lots of AdSense ads, Enhance supplies some of the ads for competing search engine results pages.

Thus, you may question whether it is worth using both Enhance and Yahoo’s own PPC program, YPN?

Don’t they conflict with one another? Not so, according to Enhance.

Their results will complement, rather than detract from any ads that you are placing directly onto Yahoo through the YPN program.

Plus, Enhance claim that their technology will also prevent the same ad appearing twice as well.

And, as you will read later, for many people, it is still not actually possible to place ads on YPN directly, so using Enhance might be your only way of getting onto Yahoo search results pages anyway.
