The AdSense Advantages Summarized

AdSense is both easy to use and manage.

Once your account is in place, adding the advertisements to your webpages or blog site takes very little time, and a minimal amount of technical know-how.

You can also run the same ads on as many pages as you like by using the same code and pasting it into as many places as you can think of on your site.

The (highly secret) algorithms that Google use to make sure that your site shows ads that are genuinely targeted at the readers most likely to visit are very effective, and generally get it right. Not all of the time though, but nothing is perfect!

Although you can now elect to have AdSense ads on your site that use images, the vast majority of ads are still overwhelmingly text only.

And (perhaps surprisingly) these text ads still enjoy significantly higher click-through rates than animated ads, such as ‘flash banners’, and so on. The more clicks you can attract, the more money you make.

Plus, text ads are very ‘light’ and therefore fast loading. AdSense does not slow your site down.

Your AdSense account allows you to set many variables in the way that ads are presented on your site, so that they can be blended almost seamlessly into your site.

You can change ad size, colors and so on, in order that they become a perfect ‘fit’ for you.

Plus, AdSense can track your ads as well, so that you can assess which ad campaigns are working most effectively and ‘tweak’ whatever it is that you are doing, in order to maximize the effectiveness of all of your efforts.

And done correctly, they can look good too!
